1963 Hatteras Sport Fisher

1963 Hatteras Sport Fisher, 6-pack charter fishing ready. Made from the original Hatteras mold for the first large fiberglass power boat, it’s as sturdy as they come and can easily handle rough water. Repowered in 2017, the starboard engine with only 20 hours usage was recently rebuilt due to user error and the port engine has only 3000 hours. With these Cummins 270B diesels the boat can do over 20 knots per hour when you need it, without guzzling fuel.

This boat has been chartered out of Treasure Island Marina in Panama City Beach, Florida since it was built. So, all upgrades have been for better deepwater fishing. The SimRad auto-pilot, radar and navigation systems make getting to the best fishing spots easy. The Phasor 8kw generator, dual air conditioners, and six bunks allow for overnight trips and the new live well and large fish box allow you to bring back your limits of snapper, grouper, etc. The back deck has been recently rebuilt with Coosa Board and watertight hatches and has powerful washdown hose to make clean-up a cinch for quick turn-around multiple trips. The salon floor has also been rebuilt and the hull was sandblasted and barrier coated in 2020.
