1966 Allied Seabreeze

Boat is in very goood condition.  Hull #24, this is a classic MacLear & Harris design in the fashion of full keel centerboard boats.  This boat retains it's bronze centerboard and lift winch.  These boats are known for their stable fast sailing charactaristics and seakindly manners.  My ownership last 20 years, always great lakes sailed.  Spent 2008-2010 undergoing diesel install, deck repairs with Treadmaster decking installed, deck and hull painted with Interlux Perfection.  The bottom was stripped, faired and coated with three coats of Interprotect followed by three coats of VCTar and Vinylux bottom paint.  At this time all interior cushions wer replaced with upgrade 4" high density foam and new upholstery.  2018 new sails from Kent sailmakers, Andersen Self tailing two speed primaires and Lewmar two speed secondaries installed.  Schaefer mainsheet track and 4:1 cam cleat sheet control installed.  Schaefer roller furling installed.  Great ground tackle handling bow pulpit with large Danforth and Delta anchors with appropriate chain and rode for each.  Winter of 2023 work included a new SS waste tank and new Raritan head.  The boat is very much original. simple in that it has a large standard ice box and a small undercounter 110VAC refrigerator.  Two burner propane stove. Water heater serving galley.  Edson cable/quadrant Wheel steering with binnacle mounted controls.  Bulkhead mounted knot/log and  portable GPS plotter.
