1971 Irwin 28 Mk IV

This boat, priced below value because I have another one and need to move this one, is sound and water tight; no soft spots. Standing and running rigging is sound although I had begun to think about replacing the main and jib halyards and the jib sheets. The main and 150 degree genoa are 15 year old Harsticks in very good condition. The 15 hp Honda four-stroke is sound and has an electric lift in good working condition. Center board and rigging completely professionally rebuilt two years ago. The combination of 3 foot draft by raising the center board and motor, makes this an ideal shallow water boat. Includes auto steer for tiller with wired remote. Solar panel, mounted on the stern, recharges the recently installed 12 volt battery system. The teak trim, hull and deck need a lot of attention and the Bimini and dodger need some stitching. The interior needs serious cleaning. It is currently on the hard at White's Marina in New Hamburug, NY.
