There are stainless steel backing plates under all deck hardware, including the traveler and centerboard winch.
The hull and deck, including the mast, were prepped and painted professionally in 2008. The rudder and centerboard were both also removed, shaped and repainted. The bottom was sand blasted and water barrier coated and painted with Interlux Micron CSC (green) antifouling in 2011. Maintenance coats were applied 2024, 2022, 2020, and 2018.
