1975 Striker 44 Sport Fisherman

Light weight, fast and efficient, this Striker 44 is one of only 98 total that were manufactured in Norway. These are legendary boats, usually mentioned in "top ten" countdowns of the greatest sportfishers of all time.

Refit and repowered by a prior owner, the interior layout has been changed from the original floor plan, the portside twin stateroom area replaced with full sized galley and dinette with island counter, the old starboard in-line galley becoming a head with separate shower.

Featuring all-aluminum plate, welded construction, including bow rails and pulpit, with hull thickness of a 1/4 inch and superstructure plating of 3/16 the construction borders on commercial grade, with utilization of above waterline sea chests instead of thru-hulls for sea water connections and fuel tank man-holes for inspection and cleaning.

Powered by Cummins 6CTA's and with an almost zero-time Phasor genset, the boat is in good running condition, and the seller has obtained a letter from MARAD removing the Coastwise restriction from the vessel due to Jones Act, subject to limitations on the operating area and being for sportfishing up to 12 passengers.
