Description
MOHOGAMY is an iconic Arthur DeFever trawler design and she was the last 53 ft wood hull built by American Marine. A gorgeous raised pilothouse trawler with classic lines she is loaded with features for offshore cruising! With wide side decks, a spacious flybridge, an abundance of lazarette storage and a distinctive Portuguese bridge, she is ideal for those looking for their next adventure. This vessel has a full-displacement hull with a 6' draft. The "Captains Quarters" stateroom is aft of the pilothouse with a sliding window to overlook the centerline helm, expansive windows, settee and chart table. Two large belowdeck staterooms with the owners cabin walk around queen, private head and standup shower. The large V-Berth opens to a second head located at the bottom of the stairs.
The interior is beautifully finished with grain matched teak woodwork, cabinetry and parquet floor. The galley and salon are aft on the deckhouse level that open to a large covered cockpit.
Twin Lehman diesels offer maneuverability and economical performance. A fuel capacity of 1100 gallons is ideal for West Coast cruising from Alaska to Mexico
