Description
Samba is a Morgan 382, REPOWERED with New Beta 38 engine, and is in fantastic condition! She very well equipped and perfect for a budget long-range cruise or liveaboard. Turn key and ready to go.
Asking $39,900 OBO
Samba is the perfect boat for cruising the Chesapeake Bay, or a winter trip south for a snowbird. We purchased Samba in 2021 as a cruising and liveaboard boat for our year-long sabbatical. After having raced small sailboats for many years, we were looking to do more extensive cruising up and down the East Coast. Our goal was to take a year off of work and to sail to the Bahamas and back. To our eyes, the Morgan 382 had very pleasing lines, great features for our needs and was a really good value. The boat was large and heavy enough for the ocean and the 5 ft draft and 50 ft mast was great for the Intracoastal Waterway. After spending 12 months fixing her up for a long cruise (including a new engine); we set sail on this beautiful 38’ sailboat. She treated us very well while cruising the East Coast and the Bahamas, but with a little one at home, now it’s time to swallow the anchor and start a new chapter.
