Description
The Grand Banks 42 remains the most successful trawler ever designed with over 1,500 produced. LADYHAWK is a well preserved example of this legendary trawler.
After more than 55 years since the first keel was laid, the Grand Banks 42 continues to endear itself to knowledgable cruisers who are looking for an economical and dependable cruising yacht for our inland waters. With two staterooms flanking a spacious salon, the 42 Classic is an ideal vessel for a couple with children or guests, providing complete privacy for each stateroom. From the daylight-filled salon, the owner and guests enjoy a 360-degree view and excellent visibility from the helm station. And LADYHAWK'S flybridge helm provides full visibility for cruising.
Out on deck, the GB tradition continues with LADYHAWK's wide and secure walk-around decks protected by high bulwarks and stout railings. With her reliable Ford Lehman engines, she is easily managed by her owner and first mate, providing economical and comfortable cruising. LADYHAWK's diesel-fired Espar furnace, Westerbeke generator, inverter and cold plate refrigeration augment the usual Grand Banks practical layout, sturdy fiberglass construction, deep water design, and long range capability to offer her owner a complete cruising yacht, ready for your next adventure.
