1980 Bertram 31 Sporty. 

this boat has undergone substiantial work and custom upgrades in recent months and ready for a new owner to enjoy!

to start - we are the 3rd owner of this boat. previous owner has her since almost new. She has had a Yanmar Diesel conversion to the 4hla 240hp engines. One large fuel tank with 250 gal capcity. She cruises at a respectful 23 - 25 MPH at 2750rpms averaging 1.8 - 2 MPG. and will top out at 34mph. Shes got brand new props with a fully refurbished spare set on stand by. Bottom paint was completed April of 2024 along with rudder bearings, seals, through hulls, prop seals, and mounting hardware for running gear.

in the recent months

boat has been rewired. 4 new panels. 1 electronics panel wired to two brand new 100AH lithium batteries. 1 house panel for fridge, cabin lights, head pump etc. 1 deck panel for bildge pumps, bait pumps, and washdown. and 1 shore/generator panel for batt chargers, outlets, and air conditioning. 4 brand new AGM starting batteries.

ALl electronics are brand new. 3 Garmin GPSMAP 12 inch touch screen displays. two at the helm, one flush mounted in cockpit. a GMR24 radar mounted on a custom made aluminum bracket. brand new VHF and Fusion Stereo unit. Stereo consists of 2 kicker speakers in the cabin, 2 kicker speakers on the bridge, and 2 x 8 inch kicker speaker tubes mounted on the tower all power by a kicker amp. 

Custom made fiberglass bait tank and cutting station. Brand new pumps and valves. Designed to be ran off the washdown pump if the bait pump fails at sea. Brand new salt water wash down system. 

Custom made tackle station to fit plano boxes, lead boxes and leader. 

fridge has been refurbished and runs off 12v 24/7

all new cabin overhead lights

custom made stainless bow pulpit paired with a power winch class 46 windlass. 15 ft of stainless chain and 600 ft of new england rope. 

full second station on the tower with full controls and steering. ( a fishermans dream )

new exterior sun pad cushions and tower seat.

boat is completely powered by a brand new Honda 3200 EU generator. mounted in a custom aluminum box on the tower that doubles as the tower seat. The generator is quiet and very efficient. Powers the whole boat including Air Conditioning. 6 hours of run time on the generator for 2 gals of fuel. Wired into a generator / shore power panel for ease of switching back and forth. no extension cords. no extra wiring. Just flip the switch and your powered up. 

All new Nav lights, stern light, all around white. Horn. LED light bars - one forward and one rear facing. 

Air conditioning unit just serviced and descaled. blows Ice cold.

new turbos both sides, new risers, new turbo plumbing, 2000 hour service, new zincs, ALL coolers removed, refurbished, and re installed. new oil cooler lines. new impellers - engines run very smooth and strong.

there is so much more. This boat was built to have all the systems and luxuries of a 60 foot sport fish. 

interior is in decent shape, cleans up great. sleeps two comfortably in the V birth and the table folds down to sleep a third. 

comes with two Artic 65 coolers, a spare windlass, spare set of props, brand new Iperp, all safety gear excluding PFDs
