General Description
A stunningly beautiful and shockingly strong blue water cruiser the Mason 43 is a sought-after and well-respected offshore sailboat. Through storms and hurricanes, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, the current owners experienced growing confidence in their Mason 43 and her ability to keep them safe, no matter where their adventures would take them. From the tried and true Airies wind vane, oversized rigging, and modern navigation aids, she's ready for extended cruising.
Accommodation
With offshore cruising at the heart of all Mason 43's the accommodations are meant to keep you safe and comfortable on offshore passages with comfortable sea berth options with appropriately placed lee cloths. All ports open and there are 4 large dorade vents to provide great ventilation in hot climates. The aft cabin is huge. With plenty of headroom, two separate berths, lockers and drawer storage, you will find it to be a comfortable place to be on any passage as well as in port. No more searching through lockers trying to find the impeller puller. Forward of the aft cabin is the galley to port and a full-sized navigation table to starboard. The U-shaped dinette is comfortable and can be converted into a double berth for visiting guests. A pilot berth on the starboard side has a custom, removable center table which makes the area more user-friendly. Forward is a full head, with a separate shower stall and good headroom. There is a large V-berth in the bow with storage and access to the chain locker.

The U-shaped galley is located to port at the foot of the companionway ladder. A double stainless sink in a fiddled laminate countertop, plumbed for pressure hot and-cold water is positioned below a storage locker with louvered door overhead and above a storage locker with louvered door below. To the right, a removable, flush-mounted section of the countertop lifts to access a removable waste container. A single storage locker with louvered door sits outboard of the waste bin. A gimbaled three burner Stove and Oven is located outboard below a Microwave space. Three storage lockers with louvered doors are situated above the periphery of the top-loading refrigeration, situated aft of the stove. Two drawers suitable for utensil storage are located below the fiddled laminate countertop. A deck prism, one overhead and two over-the-counter dome lights with red or white light provide illumination.

Head
The head, located to port, has laminate bulkheads with teak trim. A two-door multi-shelf cabinet is located outboard of an electric marine toilet. A compact stainless steel sink in a fiddled laminate countertop is located below a mirrored teak-trimmed cabinet with adjustable shelving. A hand-held shower head with chrome flex tubing attaches to the starboard bulkhead when in use, and drains to a teak-grated sump. The sink is plumbed for pressure hot and cold water, and foot-pumped cold water. Illumination is provided by one dome light. Opening port. Macerator.
Navigation Station
The aft-facing nav station is located to starboard at the foot of the companionway ladder and opposite the galley. A vertical see-through panel protects the desk surface from water splash. A hanging locker for foul-weather gear, with a removable wooden rod, is situated between the companionway ladder and the splash panel. The hinged nav station desktop opens for storage. The aft bulkhead of the nav station incorporates a variety of flush-mounted instruments and gauges. The vessel's electrical panel, a bookshelf, and an electronics locker with a louvered door are situated outboard. The nav station also contains one 12V DC receptacle. Radios and GPS are mounted above the desk. The hinged nav station seat also serves as the top of a storage locker. Illumination is provided by a deck prism and one overhead dome light with selective red or white light.
Aft Cabin
The aft cabin provides a double berth to port and a single berth to starboard. There is seating in between each berth and storage above the seat. There are also shelved units above each berth to provide extra storage.

Main Salon
The Main Salon features two cushioned settees to port and starboard. On centerline is a fiddled teak drop-leaf dining table that seats four. Each settee has two lockers with louvered doors separated by a fiddled open locker above the backrest cushion, as well as three additional storage lockers with pull-out panels behind the backrest cushion. One full-length hanging locker with a removable wooden rod and selective dome lighting is situated to starboard,
Both settees pull out to create sleeping berths and are equipped with lee cloths that secure to the overhead teak grab rails. Ventilation is provided by three opening ports to port and starboard, and one deck hatch.
The various compartments in the teak and holly cabin sole provide access to the engine and various mechanical components, and are secured by removable positive-locking floorboards.
Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning and Heat
Forward V Berth
The forward cabin features a spacious V-Berth with two ceiling-hung teak lockers and a fiddled shelf to port. Two opposing lockers and a fiddled shelf are to starboard. All of the lockers have removable shelving and louvered doors. Moving aft, there is a cabinet to starboard that consists of a louvered door above a fiddled countertop with a drawer, and another locker with louvered door below.
A full-length hanging locker, with a removable wooden rod and selective dome lighting is located to starboard at the cabin entrance. A large storage compartment is located below the plywood paneling supporting the cushioned berths. Access to the anchor rode storage locker is through a pair of louvered doors. Illumination is provided by a deck prism, one overhead dome light with selective red or white light, and two swivel reading lights. One hatch and two ports provide ventilation.
