The Nordic Tug 26
The Nordic Tug 26 is a salty and very distinctive character boat with an upright profile (note the plumb bow and fake stack) and a well-arranged interior suitable for the cruising couple. More than just an eye-catching design, however, she’s well constructed and very able to head offshore for extended coastal cruising. Construction is solid fiberglass, and her full-keel, semi- displacement hull features a rounded transom and a wide 9'6" beam. V-berth and L-shaped lounge in the salon. The pilothouse is raised two steps from the salon (engine access is below), and the aft deck is large enough for a couple of deck chairs. With the Yanmar 4JH4E 50 hp diesel (2009) the Nordic 26 will cruise at 6–7 knots burning less than a gallon per hour.
