Description
We are selling this for a customer who purchased it a few years ago and just is not using it like he thought he would and now wants to sell it. The boat was just restored before his purchase and below is a listing of what was done by the restoration company. He paid more than listed for but wants to sell it so is starting at a discounted price
Restoration Work Done by previous owner as given to us:
Engine Stringers - Replacement of Engine Stringers, Transom, forward bulkhead, and port/starboard bilge stringers **The stringers were completely rotten and would not support the torque of the engine. The stringers were cut out and new Douglas fir glassed back in. They were laminated to the transom, hull, and forward bulkhead
Interior - complete dis-assembly down to the floors and bilge: engine/drive-train removed, seat frames, and all upholstered pieces removed, the marine grade plywood floors were inspected, and damaged sections replaced from forward of engine to stern Floors were covered in a layer of 6 oz. fiberglass mat and sealed with polyester resin.
Bilge - The bilge was de-greased and sanded. Two gallons of Interlux BilgeKote were applied.
Carpet - Premium carpet was installed. The hull side and section under the bow forward of the partition were covered as well. Seat frame bases were covered with the same carpet.
Upholstery - A&A Marine premium vinyl factory kit was pre-ordered to factory specification. Prior to installation wood bases, seat bottoms, and frames were rebuilt as needed and refinished. The interior foam and hardware were replaced.
Audio -Rockville ATOM 8B 8 channel amp 3,500 Watt, Rockville WB65, 6.5 in. 600 Watt Rockville WB65, 6.5 in. 600 Watt speakers Fosgate coaxial speakers
Engine - The boat has low hours on the original engine. Engine compression tested within the required range on all 8 cylinders.
Steering - The antiquated OEM rack and pinion steering system was replaced with a SeaStar Non-Feedback system (SH911536B) coupled with a Dash Tilt Module, NFB 4.2 Single (SHT91536)
Throttle - Installed a modern side-mount system.
The exhaust ports and side Century emblems were stripped and re-finished.
Stainless Steel rubrails: All imperfections were removed on the grinder and polished to a showroom finish. handrails, swim platform supports, etc.
