1986 Hunter 31 Sailboat
Notes:
- Hull of boat is in good condition and was painted in 2022 (will need a new coat in 2025), water speed impeller is frozen and needs replacing, shaft and propeller all in very good condition, rudder in very good condition as well as steering cables.
- Sails included: 135% Genoa on furling forestay, Main sail with 2 reefing points. Sails are in fair to good condition. Jib sheets replaced in June 2023, halyards and main sheets are in great shape. Mast, spreaders, boom, shrouds, fore and aft stays, and all running rigging are in very good shape. Mainsail is equipped with a Lazy Jack system and comes with sail cover. All 4 winches are in good working condition (Port Jib halyard winch runs slightly stiff).

- Has a Ray Marine Smart Pilot Auto Pilot.
- Comes with 1 large bumper and 2 standard bumpers. All docking lines are new (2 bow, 1 stern, and 2 spring lines).
- Yanmar 2GM20F 3-cylinder diesel engine with all new cooling and fuel line hoses except hot water tank exchange hoses. Fuel lines from tank to engine are in good condition. Engine oil, filter, and coolant all have been replaced in 2023. The engine has been de-gunked and cleaned. Engine compartment foam insulation all replaced with current heat and fire-retardant technology in 2023. Two new marine batteries were installed in 2023. The stuffing box was replaced with a “Lasdrop” gen-1 system that has a small leak similar to what the stuffing box would have.
- Includes Microwave, an alcohol stove/oven, and ice chest all in decent shape.
- All seacocks are in very good condition, plumbing system all works with no leaks, water pressure pump does not auto-shutoff (works well but should be replaced). The hot water tank is good working order with no visible leaks.
- All interior lighting is in good working order. Four GFI protected duplex AC outlets.
- Head had new Raritan SuperFlush™ toilet installed in 2023. The head wall near where the mast is stepped showed signs of some wood rot. This entire area has been repaired with West System and a fresh coat of paint.
- Safety equipment Includes Marine 2-way radio (connector at mast head needs replacing, otherwise radio works), New Smoke/CO detector in Salon area, several life vests (included), 1 Life Sling on stern rail, lifelines are all in good shape. There is a flare gun but new flares should be purchased before setting sail.
- The forward hatch is in good condition with one locking handle missing, but the other one works fine. The center hatch has a broken hinge on port side but can still be opened. The hinge could be welded. All portals are in working order and do not leak. All hatches and portals have bug screens. There is also a double door hinged screen for the main hatchway.
- Interior teak wood in fair to good condition, with only finish coat wearing on gally floor.
- All exterior storage compartments in the cockpit area have been deep cleaned and sanitized.
- All interior wall carpeting has been deep cleaned.
- All cushions were recovered in 2020
