Vessel Overall Details- and owner history
Very good Condition, Incredible Upgrades including Newer B&G Electronics Package, VACU- Flush Head & More! Previous-2 owners, Owned for 35 years by one owner, originally a partner of 3 for first 2 years of boats life.
Fine-tuned and upgraded for performance sailing including outfitted with a Schumacher designed rudder and a ton of race sails.
Past several years she has been set up to performance cruise with frequent trips to Catalina Island.
Designed by C. Raymond Hunt & Associates and introduced into the O’Day line in 1981, the O’Day 35 was one of the more successful cruising designs built by O’Day. The original design had an overall length of exactly 34’. In 1985, the transom was modified slightly and a "scoop transom" with a boarding/swim platform was molded in. The change resulted in the addition of 11-1/2" to the LOA and the O'Day 35 was born!
Both the O'Day 35 & 34 versions share the same waterline length of 28’ 9", the same beam of 11’ 3", and the same approximate displacement of 11,500 lbs. Hull construction is a solid laminate of fiberglass polyester resin.
