1986 Pearson 36-2

We are selling our Pearson 36-2 to pursue other interests. This has been a great boat for cruising Lake Erie. In fact, it has always been on Lake Erie (fresh water boat). Why we have loved this boat for over 12 years: • This is a fast, comfortable, cruising boat with a fin keel with centerboard. Draft is 4’ with board up, 8’ with board down. It is the perfect arrangement for shallow water, and maximum performance in deeper water. • This is an unbelievably solid boat--especially compared to many of the newer boats in this class. • Room for 7 people: Two large private cabins with 6’6” long berths; a main cabin dinette that can be made into a bed; and a setee. • Large, built-in, well- insulated 12 vdc refrigerator with freezer • Propane gimbaled two-burner stove with oven • Nav station with storage and swing-out seat • Lots and lots of storage including three hanging lockers, drawers, cupboards, and shelves. • Double stainless steel galley sink, one 6-gallon hot water tank, two 50 gallon fresh-water tanks • Main cabin has built in combination heater, air conditioner with remote control • Head with sink, toilet, counter, mirrors, and shower. • One 20-gallon black tank. • Beautiful wood interior • Large, comfortable cockpit with leather wrapped wheel, and a dual-purpose, fold-away table that opens part way for snacks or fully for meals. • 6-Lewmar 2-speed winches, the largest being an oversize #52 • All lines lead to the cockpit for easy sailing. • 297 sq ft Mainsail with lazy jacks, 363 sq ft jib with roller furling • 125 watt solar panel allowing extended anchoring with 2 Diehard Platinum house batteries, and one starting battery • Jackstands included for winter storage. • Transom-mounted dingy davits.
