The Chris Craft 372 is a compact aft-cabin cruiser whose efficient floor plan and roomy accommodations balance out her high-freeboard appearance. Her wide-beam hull (nearly 14 feet) allows for unusually spacious accommodations for a 37-footer. The aft deck is covered with a hard top. A few steps up is the bridge which gives you excellent vision to operate the helm. The aft deck leads to unusually wide side decks with railings and grab handles all the way around making walking around the boat easy and safe. The front bow has room enough for several Sun-worshipers. Additional features include large wraparound cabin windows, a roomy engine room, bow pulpit and swim platform with ladder.
Stepping on to the boat, leads you to the Aft Deck... "The Patio" is great for entertaining friends and family. The aft deck is covered with a hard top that offers protection from the elements. The Patio is high up off the water and offers a great view. It’s wide open for enjoying and having fun. A few steps up is the bridge which gives you excellent vision to operate the helm.
Sliding the dark tinted Cabin Window/Door open reveals the Salon. Stepping down into the Salon the light Oak woodwork and big cabin windows keep it bright and airy. It’s a open floor plan, wide open to the Galley below, giving one the impression of being aboard a much bigger boat. The Salon is bright with large wraparound cabin windows, Curtains & Lighted Valances. The Salon has a long futon sofa that coverts to a bed. There is one end table at the end of the Sofa with hidden storage below. Looking forward to the bow there is large Panoramic front windshield to view whatever fun lies ahead of you, it’s an amazing view! Across the Salon is an Oak trimmed Bar/Countertop for Dining or Cocktails. There is also a built-in Oak Cabinet w/Glass doors that house the AM/FM Stereo & CD player with speakers in the Salon and Master Stateroom and the AC/DC Fuse Panel/Power Center. A Flat Screen TV above the Galley is tucked in the corner that you can view from the Aft Patio too. There are sliding windows on both sides of the Salon that allow a great cross breeze to come through. The Salon has plenty of room to entertain and walk around.
A few steps down is the Galley, very functional and convenient. The Galley has a 3 burner Stainless Steel electric Stove with a Cutting Board Cover and a Microwave. There is a Dual Stainless-Steel Sink. Next to the sink is a built in hidden below-counter trash bin for quick clean-up of meal preparation, very handy. Under the Counter/Bartop is a Norcold refrigerator/freezer with black panels. There's plenty of Countertop & Cabinet space below as well as recessed shelves with sliding windows in this Galley.
Across from the Galley is the Dinette. The Dinette converts to a double size bed w/storage under the seats. Recessed shelves above the table with sliding windows give room to store your dinnerware and glasses.
Next is the forward Bathroom which has a Vanity countertop w/cabinet storage below, Mirrored Medicine Cabinet w/storage behind, Shower and Portal.
Moving towards the bow is the forward Cabin Guest Stateroom. The Stateroom has an ample Double-Bed sized sleeping space with Underneath Storage. The Stateroom has 2 large storage Drawers and a Closet. Above the bed is a tinted Glass Hatch that lets the sunlight in and gives you a view of the Sky or just hop out onto the front bow. There's also 2 side Portals as well.
Returning to the Master Stateroom located in the aft of the boat, there is a Queen bed with 2 closets, built in Dresser, Dressing Table & Mirror, and AC/Heater controls. There are Curtains with a slider window, overhead dimmer lighting and Wall Sconce lighting that can be controlled from the bed. The Master Stateroom includes a Full Bathroom brightly lit with a full-size Shower Stall, a Vanity with storage and a slider window with Curtains.
Below the Salon is the Engine room. There's enough room to get to and maintain all the critical parts. The Crusader 350 (270 hp) engines with approx. 1526 hours fit nicely to each side of the engine room. Crusader has been Marine-izing General Motors engines for many years and are still in business. This means parts are easy to find and affordable if needed. Also, the Onan 6.5kW Marine Generator, Halon Fire Suppression System, Water & wastewater tanks, Batteries, Jabsco Pressurized Water system, Seacock Valves, Bilge pump and all essential components are housed in the engine room. Below the Dinette is another hatch for more available storage.
This is a larger, well-equipped boat with an early 14 foot beam to give you plenty of room to entertain, live aboard or for making the great loop adventure. This is a great Classic Cruiser looking for a new home.
