1988 President 37 Sedan Sport Fish

Introduced in the mid-1980s, the President 37 Sedan became popular with sophisticated deep ocean enthusiasts buyers thanks to her spacious interior and a very attractive luxurious amenities designed for longevity and the ability to withstand extreme ocean conditions. The Hull construction is reinforced solid fiberglass, and a shallow keel provides an excellent command and optimal directional stability. Both single- and twin-stateroom floorplans were available during her production years, all with a single head compartment as well as a spacious salon. Nearly all of the higher end models were delivered with a full teak interior, cabinetry a dual helm and diesel engines. For buyers more cost conscious, models were offered with less teak and petrol gasoline engines Large cabin windows provide plenty of natural lighting in the salon, and hatches in the salon sole can be removed for access to the engine room. (Note that the generator is installed beneath the cockpit sole—the ideal location to avoid risk of saltwater corrosion and certainly quieter than if it were in the engine room.) Above, the flybridge is arranged with guest seating forward of the helm. A bow pulpit, swim platform, and transom door were standard Twin Detroit 8.2 Turbo charged diesels were installed with exceptional fuel efficiency. Cruise speed 18Knots (24 knots top).
