1992 Wellcraft Eclipse 232

For sale is a well maintained, rare configuration Wellcraft 232 eclipse.  Rare because it boasts a "mid-ship" cudy which allows for an open bow configuration.We have loved this boat as it can easily seat 10-people and handles any sea conditon with ease.  Powered by the well proven 454/ Bravo-One and repowered/ enhanced 12 years ago by the original ower to an Edelbrock 502 with high performance ignition/carb/plug system.  This boat is 24 feet long but feels and handles the water as a much larger craft.  A rarely used "kicker" Merc-9.9 (2-cycle) motor attached for emergencies or trolling is included.  the hulll is a fiber reinforced "Cortec" design that was unique to Wellcraft for their offshore use.  Recent work completed includes: new (highperformance plugs/wires/distributer/waterpump/oil service for motor & outdrive/ new outdrive fluid reservoir.  Trailer is a Shorelandr tandam axel that was modified ty the original owner with electric brakes/ 16" wheels and extended tongue that result in a extremely well balanced and handling trailer (I literally forget sometimes that I am towing the boat).  Only selling as we are moving to a larger cabin crusier for overnight outings.  The "midship" cuddy sleeps one adult comfortably and the bow/stern seats convert to lounge/sleep seats if needed.  A table is part of the bow configuration when needed.  Stereo is an Alpine with 4 (Polk Audio) speakers and a Phoenix 1,000 watt amplifier.
