1994 Advantage SR21

1994 Advantage Boats SR21 Bowrider. It has been our family boat for 25 years and was purchased from the original owner who custom ordered it from Advantage in Lake Havasu. It has many original upgrade options including the 454 Mercuriser with a Brovo 1 drive (many of the SR21's only came with the 350 Mercuriser), through transom silent choice exhaust (the silent choice valves and compressor work but one of the air hose lines that feed the valves is cracked and needs to be replaced). The boat has the original factory tweed interior still in place which is a testament to the quality of tweed used by Advantage. However, now the tweed on several upward facing surfaces is tearing and will need to be replaced. We have replaced a few areas already. The original vinyl that is also part of the interior does not need to be replaced and is in excellent condition.  

The boat has approximately 400 original hours. It runs perfect and has been maintained with all recommend service. The drive had a major service a few years ago and the gimble bearing replaced. It was found to be in good working order. The Bimini top is in good shape. It has a very nice Competitive box frame trailer. The boat has been used every summer and shows wear but is in very good condition, especially mechanically. With the exhaust open it has that great carbureted big block sound. 

In 2006 the boat had a minor collision at Nacimiento that caused some Fiberglass damage on the bow. I had it professionally repaired at Failsafe Fiberglass in Atascadero. While the boat was there I had them fix some other dings and dock rashes. Our intent was to have the gel coat redone in the area of the repairs but never did. The repairs are complete and water tight but are still grey primer color as seen in the photos.
