Description

Loon won't last long with these recent upgrades: new shaft, new motor mounts, new stuffing box, new shaft tube, new starter, new cutlass bearings, and two coats of bottom paint, hull paint and buffing! Looking fabulous! (January 2024)

Clever design and uncompromising craftsmanship are the mainstays of the Caliber 35. Loon is a prime example of the craftsmanship which is renowned throughout the Caliber range.

Craftsmanship in carpentry, with a detailed teak interior, flows throughout the boat, and provides a comforting ambiance.

Loon is configured with a twin leaf dining table fit for entertaining, twin settees with cleverly designed storage above and inside, and two cabins. The forward V berth is comfortable and can be closed off for additional privacy. By closing the doors, an en-suite is created with the spacious forward heads, which can also be accessed from the saloon through a separate door. A second, aft cabin, provides ample guest accommodation. Climate control is provided by a Cruisair Reverse Cycle AC unit, and Despar Diesel heater, combined with a total of eleven opening portholes!

The galley includes a two burner stove / oven, twin sink, hot and cold water, sea water pump, 12v refrigeration system, and counter space and custom storage in a U shape formation.

On deck, the helmsman benefits from a Brooks & Gatehouse Linear arm drive hydraulic autopilot, Icom SSB, Ratheon radar, Ratheon Chartplotter, Brooks & Gatehouse GPS, Depth sounder, Compass, and VHF radio.
