1995 Farrier F9A(F31)

PRICE DROP! WE ARE PURCHASING A LIVEABOARD CATAMARAN! Excellent condition customized Farrier F9A trimaran. Built in Seattle in 1995 by a master craftsman with oversight and help from Ian Farrier (who lived in Seattle at the time of the build).  Extensive refit done in 2017 by the second owner in Mendocino CA, who was a detail oriented carpenter and boat builder. During the refit, the boat was modified to be more comfortable for cruising. He built a lightweight self contained refrigerator, added solar, installed a small water maker and tank, ray marine chart plotter, autopilot, built an incredible Bimini top/fully enclosed dodger that is easy to install in sections, or use none of it if not needed. He raised the boom about 8” on the mast for 6’+ head clearance in the cockpit with the Bimini up. He then had custom very durable sails made by Pineapple Sails in Alameda California. He also built a new anchor locker that resides further aft with a roller system to allow the use of a larger anchor for worry free nights. This system Is much easier to deploy and retrieve than the original bow locker. Every detail of the boat was well thought through and implemented with simplicity and ease of maintenance in mind. Led lighting and small amp draw fans are installed throughout. So many more details that you truly need to see to appreciate. I purchased the boat in 2020, brought it down to Marina Del Rey, and have enjoyed many day sails and many weeks spent in Catalina island with my wife and 2 daughters. We made a custom boat cover for it using sunbrella heavy duty fabric. We also purchased a Laveo dry flush toilet that fits perfectly under the forward cabin berth. In 2023 I upgraded the Lithium ion battery to a 120AH unit, and installed a BMS with wifi capability (so you always know how much battery life you have, and how much the solar is charging), as well as victron solar control units with the same features. We upgraded all the cushions and berths with Sailrite marine bed foam. Just months ago, I removed the 24 year old 9.9hp engine and installed a new 2024 Suzuki 20hp outboard, with a longer shaft (no cavitation over waves) and power tilt. We went from 6kts motoring to 10, and the power tilt, while only adding about 15lbs, adds tons of safety and ease of lifting the engine when under sail to reduce drag. Additional sails are included (asym spinnaker, code zero), as well as many spares, lines, etc etc. We are selling this boat to purchase a live aboard Catamaran! 
A truly unique boat, and one of the (if not the) best kept F9/F31s in Marina Del Rey. The only thing that needs some maintenance is the trailer. We have only used it to launch and retrieve the boat as we store it in mast up storage 100 yards from the launch ramp.
