1996 Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 25

Eclipse was built in 1996 by Damian McLaughlin of WEST (Wood-Epoxy Saturation Technique), Epoxy, wood laminate.

Her topsides are gleaming white Awlgrip, Decks are painted non-skid and cockpit sole and seats are natural teak.

Eclipse is a fine example of high quality yacht construction

Starting in the bow, there is a V-berth with a filler cushion and a toilet hidden under the berth.

Immediately aft of the V-berth are two comfortable seats, the one on the starboard side serves as a seat for the nav table which covers the engine box to starboard of the centerboard.

Aft of the port seat is the galley with a stainless steel sink and ample counter space.

Access to the cabin from the cockpit is through a very wide companionway.

All hardware is by Lewmar including primary and secondary winches to port and starboard. Winches have bronze drums to add to the classic tone of the boat.

The jib is self tacking on a Lewmar traveler and the main sheet traveler is also by Lewmar.

2019:

• Removal and replacement of centerboard trunk
• Engine removal and re-installation, alignment
• Engine bed replacement
• Replacement of engine area floor timbers

2020:

• Floor timber replacement in mast step area
• Planking and bulkhead repair
• Repair adjacent planking and bulkhead
• New floor timbers
• New mast step
