Description
HUGE Price Drop
ECLIPSE is a wonderful example of one of Nathaniel Herreshoff's most iconic designs, the Buzzard's Bay 25. It has been said that this is Herreshoff's favorite design. Dramatically beautiful, extremely fast, yet easy to sail.
Her large deep cockpit is comfortable and commodious for day-sailing and the cabin is fitted with a small galley, toilet and holding tank for cruising. She is a wonderful day sailer or over-night weekender.
Her keel-centerboard configuration allows gunk-holing and anchoring in the most secluded coves and harbors. The two cylinder Yanmar diesel assures the ability to get home easily when the wind dies.
Built in 1996 of cold molded cedar by Damian McLaughlin, her topsides are gleaming white Awlgrip and the varnished teak on deck and varnished spars makes this boat a "proper yacht".
"Eclipse" has been lightly used by her current owner and has been carefully and professionally maintained at Manchester Marine.
This beautiful boat is sure to give the next owner great joy to own, to sail, and simply to just gaze upon.

Accommodations
Starting in the bow, there is a V-berth with a filler cushion and a toilet hidden under the berth.
Immediately aft of the V-berth are two comfortable seats, the one on the starboard side serves as a seat for the nav table which covers the engine box to starboard of the centerboard.
Aft of the port seat is the galley with a stainless steel sink and ample counter space.
Access to the cabin from the cockpit is through a very wide companionway.
Deck Hardware
All hardware is by Lewmar including primary and secondary winches to port and starboard. Winches have bronze drums to add to the classic tone of the boat.
