1997 Kadey-Krogen 42

This 42 offers a master stateroom forward, with an island queen berth. The guest stateroom is to starboard, with a full berth and a pullman single berth. There is a pull-out double berth in the pilothouse and an additional berth on the salon settee.
Salon
The salon is entered through large double doors off of the covered aft deck. To starboard is an L-shaped leather settee, with lots of storage underneath and behind it. The dining table raises and lowers easily and can be opened to accommodate more guests. There are large windows to port and starboard, and a single window on the aft for plenty of natural light. To port, there are built-in cabinets and a comfortable leather reclining chair and ottoman. There are teak valances with concealed up-lighting. There is a retractable Phantom screen on the double aft doors.
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is located forward featuring a center island queen berth, with lots of usable storage under the bed. There are two full length hanging lockers with interior shelves and automatic lighting There are two sets of deep drawers (6 total) underneath the berth, as well as additional drawers and a storage cabinet under the vanity. Four opening ports and an overhead hatch, provide ample light and ventilation. There are additional LED lights and reading lights for task lighting.
Head
The head is to port with a fresh water flush head. The shower has a molded fiberglass seat, teak floor, and a port for ventilation. The mirrored medicine cabinet provides extra storage. An opening port allows light and ventilation in the vanity area. There is a tucked-away, lighted magnifying makeup mirror.
Guest Stateroom
The guest stateroom is to starboard and includes an L-shaped settee, which converts to a full double bed. The Pullman berth folds down for an additional single berth. There are reading wall sconces, overhead lighting, and additional LED lighting, making this a bright space. There are multiple storage drawers under the settee, a closet with shelves, open book shelves, and a large, foldout work-table with lots of storage underneath. There are two opening ports.
Raised Pilot House
The comfortable raised pilothouse has a center helm, watch berth with table, three panel front windshield, port and starboard doors with windows and full-length snap-in screens . There are two opening portlights aft and a beautiful teak and holly sole.
