Broker Summary
"MADNESS", the 1999 Johnson High Tech 70, is sitting in Lighthouse Point and she is ready for your inspection. This boat has been in the caring hands of a proactive owner operator since 2017. The owner has invested in a long list of upgrades and maintenance, and their level of care shows. If you visit MADNESS today, you will find a clean yacht that has been properly maintained.
MADNESS is a 4-stateroom yacht, and each suite has its own private ensuite head. There is a useful crew quarter located in the bow that is completely separated from the rest of the yacht's interior. Buyers seeking space will be satisfied with this brokerage offering. The staterooms are comfortable for real sized adults. The main deck is open with large seating located both fore and aft. Not to mention the exterior spaces found here are shaded and huge!
Yes, MADNESS will cruise fast. She will run an honest 18-21 knots when turning 1800-2000 RPM. This owner does the lion's share of his cruising at fast displacement speeds of 10-12 knots; economical and gentle on the motors and the yacht overall.
MADNESS was hauled out last in May 2023 to install new 5 blade propellers. Additionally, this yacht had a thorough boatyard visit August 2020 - March 2021 and that summary of work is available.
All of the photos and the virtual tour is current, and each portrays this yacht's current condition accurately.
