The Cobalt 206 is equipped with a sturdy, concealed ladder, and the activity platform makes everything easier and more enjoyable for skiers, boarders, and swimmers. The platform is the logical center of on-the-water activity, and a walk-through transom makes this enlarged area accessible and convenient. The Cobalt 206 has all the convenience of walk-through access to the activity platform combined with the extra seating that the Varadense lounge makes available. Forward there are two plush captain chairs. Varadense is Cobalt's seating system incorporating multiple densities of foam (from #35 to #125), with the heaviest foam used at the base to prevent uncomfortable bottoming out on rough water. Softer foams at the surface deliver comfort and contour. Built on rot-proof composite structural supports and covered in vinyl exclusive to Cobalt, all seat-support mechanisms are mounted to aluminum plate reinforcement embedded in the fiberglass. Snap-in bow and cockpit carpet removes for easy cleaning.
