2000 Pursuit 2470 Center Console

Extremely clean and professionally maintained.  The current owner has owned the 2470 for 11 years. The boat has been continuously updated and all manuals, repairs and maintenance records are included.  The original twin Yamaha 150 engines have complete service records, run excellent, and have proven to be bullet proof, with a recent run to the Bahamas. All engine services for the last 9 years have been completed at Vero Marine. The engines are surprisingly efficient, averaging over 1.2 mpg @ 3900 rpms, and 27 knots.  Although typical of two strokes, they smoke a bit at start up, but are miserly on oil.  Approximately, 1300 original hours.

Recent upgrades since 2022 include, a new Bimini, new Rupp outrigger bases, Raymarine 12” Element GPS with CHIRP sounder, SS anchor, new windless, new Standard Horizon VHF w/internal GPS. Gauges have been refurbished and all wiring organized and labeled. Everything works as it should…all switches, pumps, etc. Tilt &Trim and trim tab pistons all replaced or repaired in the last few years. The autopilot works but needs to be calibrated.  A marine electrician recommends re-wiring all leads to the control head.

The Pursuit factory is in Ft. Pierce and parts are still readily available.

Forward V cushions are serviceable and there is a custom made inflatable Deck Pad® that can be used as a full V cushion and/or water toy. $1400 new and barely used. Other cushions and bolsters are all good. Spare anchor, USCG package, all outrigger lines and clips, some spare dock lines, two fenders and tackle drawer trays included. There are very few imperfections…3” ding on starboard rubber rub rail and a few spots of gelcoat spidering. All stainless and aluminum in excellent shape. One Faria engine hour gauge is not working, but as of this posting the port gauge reads accurately at 1215 hours. Both engines have always been run simultaneously.

Although the boat has been primarily lift kept, she will be in a slip at the Vero Beach City marina until sold, with option to stay monthly or annually. Ablative bottom paint is approximately 18 months old.

Highly praised by experienced anglers, the Pursuit 2470 Center Console is perhaps the most versatile fishing machine Pursuit makes. Certainly, she is one of the most popular. Offering as smooth, dry, and stable a ride as can be found in a boat of this size, family and friends can be taken far offshore with complete confidence. Yet she has the shallow draft and maneuverability wanted for inshore fishing. The 2470 Center Console is laid out to give all the open space needed to fight and land even the biggest fish. The integrated transom features a large bait and tackle rigging station, a freshwater sink with a spray hose, a cutting board, and a 30-gallon fish box.
