2000 Wellcraft 45 Excalibur

Not included, but can be purchased for an extra $15k is the 2018 Williams 280 Minijet 4 stroke tender and trailer, as the Williams tender is a great fit for this boat.

This 2000 Wellcraft 45 Excalibur is in excellent condition and offers state of the art add-on features making it the best value of any Excalibur for sale. 

Because the Excalibur has Bravo 3 stern drives a normal Freedom lift is not possible,  however you'll love how this Presto Marine 500 XL lift operates up to 1200 lbs. Besides lifting the tender in and out of the water, it slides out to give you access to your deck including the swim ladder and it also slides inward keeping it up against the transom when driving. You can also keep the tender at your dock and remove the large J arms and fold the rest down almost completely freeing up your transom deck if needed.

The Shideshift 24v bow and stern thrusters make maneuvering at the dock, gas dock, restaurant dock or any dock a breeze. The dash joysticks are easy to operate plus you have a wireless remote and you could operate the thrusters from anywhere on the boat or standing on the dock. Making this 2000 Excalibur more like a 2024 model except they don't make them anymore.

I also upgraded the original 3x3 props to the newer Hill Marine Signature 4x4 props. While they lose a bit of top end speed, they get you out of the hole easier and faster with less fatigue on the Bravo 3 drives. I just did 42 mph when the boat went in this season with the Avon tender on the back. Without the tender you'll get a faster speed and if you want 50+ mph, repurchase some 3x3 props. Crusing in the upper 30's is good for me and it does that well.

I've added mesh canvas for shade front and back and also a large isinglass back window. The top canvas may need to be changed soon, but it currently is good and does not leak.

And if you didn't know, these Excaliburs were made by Riviera Marine in Australia and imported by Wellcraft. Wellcraft went out of business, but Riviera Marine still produces some of the world's best yachts today. I put their logo on the radar arch.

This is a freshwater boat only and I bought it in 2019 from the other side of Michigan. I literally use it as a cottage on the water and haven't put 5 to 10 hours on it since I bought it. I mainly get around in the tender. Having said that I keep up on all engine and drive maintenance plus the Kohler generator which was just maintenanced. The Kohler generator only has 130 hours on it.

These older Excaliburs are unique with their european styling and they still look modern today, but only this one offers the modern equipment to make the experience more like a new boat.

It is located in Muskegon Michigan and is stored in heated storage. I travel out of state often and last minute dates to view it may not be possible. 

There are no issues or concerns and it runs great.
