2001 Dusky 233 / 252

Very clean 2001 Dusky 233 with less than 250 hours on the hull. Dusky now calls this a 252 since it is 25’2” when measured with the bracket. Boat was purchased from a friend’s dad who had it sitting in his yard for many years unused. Boat had the original 2001 Evinrude FICHT motor with only 211 hours on it. Bought this with another friend as a project boat as he was planning to move to the Florida Keys last year, but life got in the way and plans have changed.

Boat has a 2022 Yamaha F300XCA Digital Electronic Controls outboard that is still under manufacturer’s warranty until October 2025, and can be extended for up to three more years directly from Yamaha. New aluminum trailer with dual axles (both axles equipped with disc brakes) with a GVWR of 7000lbs.

Since acquiring the boat, here is the list of work we have had done to it:

• Purchased 2022 Yamaha F300XCA with 800 hours - $21,500
• New Yamaha Digital Electronic Control Binnacle with PCM, Wiring Harnesses, Ignition Switch, Digital Display - $3,200
• Yamaha tune-up parts (engine oil, lower unit oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, water separator) - $275
• Motor installation hardware, labor, and initial startup - $1,800
• Full inspection by Yamaha Dealer with Warranty transfer - $235
• Trailer - $7,000
• Installed complete new SeaStar hydraulic steering system (helm, steering wheel, cylinder, hoses, through hull adapter, 20 degree helm adapter)  - $1,900
• Gel coat professionally polished inside and out - $1,400
• New Bennett Bolt Trim tab system - $950
• New Dusky Lexan dash panel, new Contura V backlit rocker switches, new wiring and installation - $1,800

In addition to the above we easily have another $2,000 in miscellaneous items (engine rigging tube and fittings, fuel line and primer ball, stern light, scuppers, bilge paint for inside hatches, cable management, water separator, removal of old engine, etc…) When added to the price we originally paid for the boat, we have more than $55,000 invested in this.

Boat just completed and comes with Taco Outriggers mounted in the T-Top, a Garmin GPS/fishfinder, anchor with several hundred feet of rope, and a few other accessories.
