Boat Details
Description
Our Beloved La Cruz is for sale. We have been liveaboards for 5 years and just welcomed our first little one into the world. Will be taking a break from boat life for a bit while we prioritize our family.
This is an amazing boat with a one of a kind layout. The perfect balance of performance and liveaboard space.
The Voyage 440 model won CRUISING WORLD Boat of the Year in 2002 and Best Cruising Multihull in 2002, the first multihull ever to win the overall sailboat of the year award! he judges fairly gushed over the unmatched blend of performance, quality of construction, and attention to details necessary to qualify her as a true bluewater cruising cat.
Though Voyage Yachts was anticipating this coup would boost the sales of their 4 cabin versions for their namesake charter fleet, instead they found the factory book full of orders for owner’s versions. The 2001-2004 era Voyage 440 Owner’ s versions set a standard that few other production catamarans have subsequently achieved. They are so well regarded that most have known only one or two owners since new.
VESSEL WALKTHROUGH (3 CABIN / 2 HEAD)
All cabins have well developed storage in every possible location with large hanging lockers as well as shelved cabinets and under seat storage. Ideal for live-aboard comfort. Starboard Owner’s side has stall shower while port hull has hand-held shower in center head unit accessed from forward and aft doors.
OWNERS – Starboard hull, Desk and hanging lockers starboard midships, Aft head with separate shower and hand basin, Queen berth forward , 2 hanging lockers and other storage cabinets with ample shelves, cabin and reading lights, towel rail.
PORT HULL – Queen berth forward with latex mattress, full berth aft, center head accessed forward and aft doors, hanging lockers and cabinets, bookshelf at port forward stairwell, towel rails in cabin and head.
SALON – Bar/breakfast counter with one stool, L shaped saloon seating, upholstered cushions (Gray, Alcantara upholstery, new 2021) standing height throughout 1.9m, storage in seating module, table legs modifiable for dining or cocktail height.
Additional pilot berth in starboard hull, outboard of helm and accessed from deck hatch and starboard head. a very comfortable long single bed with foam mattress, overhead light and fan. When not in use as berth this makes a huge dry storage area.
Nav station and AC/DC electrical panel in aft salon. Stool for nav station or dining seating.
