Equipped with a single 2017 Yamaha F225(300 Hours), the Fountain 23 Sportfish CC Tournament Edition is easy to maintain and capable of speeds around 40mph with instantaneous throttle response, crisp midrange acceleration and phenomenal maneuverability. Standard trim tabs compensate for shifting weight loads. Extensive testing has helped fine-tune a design that's at home whether fishing on a peaceful river or outside an offshore harbor. Designed and equipped like all Fountain fishing boats, the 23 comes standard with an anchor locker, one-piece plexiglass windshield, a 330-quart insulated fish box, hydraulic steering and a t-top with electronic storage. During construction, the 23 benefits from the same lamination schedule used on the tournament-winning 31. Same premium resins and multi-weave fiberglass. Same 316L stainless hardware. Same Klegecell coring. Inside, passengers won't find a roomier 23' boat.  Clean-up is easy thanks to the self-bailing, non-skid fiberglass innerliner. The helm leaning post / livewell combination allows plenty of legroom for two adults behind the console and wide walkways provide access all the way around the boat for unobstructed fishing. When it comes to storage, the 23 won't disappoint. The center console locker is ideal for stowing large items and essential gear. Keep the catch fresh in the 330-quart locker that is close at hand under the forward platform and has a convenient overboard drain. The gunwales, equipped with standard rod holders, are wide open for fighting fish and custom T-tops have four additional rocket launchers, extra handholds and a spacious overhead electronics box.
