2003 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer

Well maintained 2003 SeaRay Sundancer 280 that has seen minimal use over the years. Prior owner had three other boats (two larger than this 28') moored outside his home in Discovery Bay (this one was kept on a hydra-hoist). I thought I would use it much more often but even before my youngest went off to college it just didn't get used. 

Both engines have under 400 hours. Bottom and drives were just cleaned, painted, and new annodes installed. Some minor cosmetic blemishes, no hull damage or accidents. Have service records and previous boat survey. Sun damage to the back bench seat but otherwise a beautiful looking boat. Kohler 5Kw generator that runs but overheats then shuts off so needs some work.

Was going to list with the broker who the last seller used, but they require a minimum $5000 commission. I'd rather sell it myself and arrive at a deal we both can be happy with. From the comps they ran this is the only one of this size, model and approximate year on the West Coast. Currently moored at Grand Marina in Alameda.

I love this boat and wish I could keep it but don't feel comfortable going out solo, especially if something happened to me. Wife gets sea sick.
