2004 Carolina Classic 28

Up for sale is my beautiful 28 Carolina Classic that is 100% Ohio freshwater only used since day 1.

I am the third owner of this boat since it was new and recently purchased it in April of this year through the salesman that sold the boat originally.

The boat is equipped with Volvo Penta 8.1 Gi engines which easily and effortlessly gets this boat up and running. There is currently 510 hours on the engines, and 1/2 of that time is from idle speed. The boat just received Oil and filter changes @ 500 hours along with new fuel filters.

The boat is equipped with the original Furuno electronics suite which has radar, GPS, and 60/280 Furuno transducer which is all in operable condition. The boat also has a Garmin 942XSV GPS/ Fish finder installed in the electronics box that I use as my primary fish finder. The boat also has Raymarine autopilot and a new ICOM VHF radio.

The cabin is equipped with AC that blows cold air, microwave that has never been used and internals are still in styrofoam, and toilet along with water system that works but never commissioned this season.

Only item that is inoperable at the moment is the original stereo, it will not power up and is more than likely needing replaced due to its age. 

The boat has front/side and rear drop down curtains and a rear aft canvas cover. The front and side windows will need re-stitched in a couple areas, the drop down rear curtain is brand new and the aft canvas cover is in excellent shape. There are a few deck snaps that are in the process of being re-installed. 

I had the boat surveyed in April which came back in excellent condition along with engine compression checks that came back at 180 PSI across the board. While my mechanic was in there we did new platinum spark plugs, cap wires and rotor.

The boat overall is in excellent shape and everything works as it should and is turn key.
