2004 Edgewater 265CC

The Vessel is Actually a 2004. The Head of Boston Whaler had a dream. He left Boston Whaler to pursue that dream. Larger Unsinkable Offshore Fishing Boats. That Dream became Edgewater Boats. About the same time Honda and Yamaha were introducing 4-stroke outboard engines. Edgewater and Yamaha believed their 265 CC with the increased fuel advantage could be the first outboard powered CC to make the trip from Florida Keys to Fort Walton Beach Fla., on a Single Tank of Fuel. Representives from Adventure Marine/Edgewater/Yamaha left FWB early one morning 2022 and arrived in Key West the next day. This is the actual boat which made the trip. I was an employee at Adventure and we wound up with it. She went back to factory for a new hull in 2006. One of the toughest most reliable CC's ever built. Her foam-filled hull insures that even full of water, she will not sink. The powerheads were replaced in 2013, and she hasn't even been offshore since. Eight or ten - 8 mile trips to Crab Island is about it. She is in excellent condition and has been dry stored since new. Never left out in sun and weather.
