Manufacturer Provided Description
The 280 Abaco was designed for serious offshore fishing with a huge aft fighting deck; 35-gallon lighted live well; two large in-sole fish boxes; and plenty of rod storage. Below deck, the extensive cabin accommodations allow for extended trips with a spacious V-berth, convenient galley and fully enclosed head with shower. The 280 Abaco includes many design features that place it firmly ahead of the competition, including a truly unique outboard engine mounting system. Called the "Scout-Strata-Mount", it incorporates the two main longitudinal stringers as the backbone of the fully integrated engine mount, thus providing unmatched structural integrity and performance with factory-installed Yamaha power.
