Construction
Marlow Yachts are limited production semi-custom yachts built with stringent quality control procedures. The Marlow Explorer 78E is a very popular design and is built for long range self-contained cruising in comfort and safety. The proprietary strut keel protects the running gear when offshore from debris and floating lines and when inshore from serious damage from accidental grounding. Bandol’s shafts are fitted with Spurs to cut through lines which may be encountered on buoys or floating freely and can avoid then tangling in the propellors.
Construction is with the best components such as Dupont Kevlar, CoreCell, for both the hull, deck, and superstructure which makes Bandol a very quiet and strong vessel. Vinylester and epoxy resins and glues are used throughout. Mechanical equipment such as Aquadrive constant velocity joints on the shafts ensure no vibrations and additional quiet when underway. Tide seals ensure a constantly dry bilge and smooth operation. Trace inverters are used to allow silent nights is quiet anchorages. On the lovely hand-finished interior quality brands like Sub Zero, Dacor, Asko, Bosch, Franke, Grohe, and similar are found. Fine fabrics of ultra-leather and other top brands grace the interior.
