Accommodations
Standing dockside, the Sea Ray 280 Sundancer has a sleek profile with its forward swept arch and wrap around windshield. The vessel is easily boarded over the aft deck gunwale. Molded in steps allow good footing. By water, a wide fiberglass swim platform allows swimmers and dinghy passengers easy access to the aft deck. The aft deck has forward and aft settees providing a great vantage point underway. The aft deck features include aft bimini top, stereo speakers, storage cabinets, removable table, SeaDeck flooring, and a transom gate. Moving forward the midship deck has the helm to starboard. The helm allows the captain a 360 degree unobstructed view underway. The helm boasts Mercruiser clutch and throttle controls, Garmin Chart plotter/bottom sounder, full instrumentation, and a captains pedestal chair with flip up bolster seat. Behind the helm is a wet bar with sink, cupholders, and storage cabinet. Across to port is an L-shaped settee. The cabin door has molded in steps allowing passengers access to the forward deck through an opening in the windshield. The bow highlights include wrap around stainless bow rail, Quick windless, Guest spotlight, Bomar deck hatch, and a non skid sole.
The main cabin is accessed through the sliding door from the forward helm deck. Immediately to port is the dinette with teak pedestal table and ultra soft wrap around seating. There are beautiful teak cabinets, port hole, accent lights, and the table lowers to convert to a berth. Across to starboard is the Galley. The Galley boasts Norcold refrigeration, Corian countertops, Kenyon stove top, microwave oven, and abundant storage. The forward cabin has a wrap around v-berth with drop down pedestal table. Other items include reading lights, curtains, stereo speakers, and TV with DVD player. The cabin has a light vinyl overhead and a Berber carpet sole with carpet runners. The aft cabin has a privacy curtain, storage cabinets, reading light, mirrored cabinet, and sliding window.
