Description
Excess is a gorgeous example of the Sunreef brand, renowned for their exceptional build quality and luxurious fit and finish. She has a 4 queen cabin layout with 2 additional crew cabins. All cabins, including the crew cabins, have full A/C and en suite showers and heads. The beautiful real wood bamboo finish on the interior gives her a warm and inviting feel throughout. The Port side forward bow locker is equipped with a complete workshop including tools and workbench. A custom bar and sink were added to the cockpit for a huge improvement to guest entertainment and comfort. Her factory options include a carbon fiber mast and park avenue boom.
Originally launched in Dec 2011 as hull # 9 of the Sunreef 70 series. Excess has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean. She has been consistently cared for by a professional crew and received comprehensive maintenance and yard periods, including a substantial refit in 2018.
For the past several years, Excess has been operating as a successful crewed charter yacht based in St Thomas, USVI. Excess features a 5-cabin layout with 4 queen ensuite guest cabins and a crew double bunk bed cabin. There is also an addition crew berth and head in the starboard forepeak, allowing Excess to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests and 3 crew. All cabins have their own head and separate shower stall. The master suite has a commodious desk and settee lounge. The interior is finished in gorgeous real Bamboo cabinetry with Corian counter tops and tasteful vinyl headliners and accents throughout. She sports top quality upholstered furniture and Sunbrella exteriors cushions which were recently recovered.
Excess has spacious exterior lounge areas including the aft cockpit with a dining table, wet bar, and drink fridge. Up at the flybridge, there are large sunbed loungers, another dining table, and the helm position. The perfect place for guests to enjoy an al fresca meal or a cocktail at sunset!
Galley
The large, well-laid out galley features all the appliances necessary for a chef to turn out masterful cuisine. Ample counter space allows for plating of multi course meals for all 8 guests and crew. There is a huge amount of pantry and storage space as well. A full-sized fridge, two ovens, a double basin sink, dishwasher, and a large 4-burner stove make for a chef’s dream galley.
