112 Westport Raised Pilothouse
-
In the World of Westport yachts, “First Light” stands out as a benchmark by which subsequent 112s were built. At the time of launch, this hull was the highest specified 112 to come out of the Westport and Hoquiam, WA yards. She is currently undergoing updates, to include new countertops on the exterior bars and new headliners throughout the interior.
“First Light”, hull #42 of the 112 series was the first US-delivered Westport to offer the new style extended transom. This new design allowed for an extra crew berth as well as adding an 18” extension to the aft deck. “First Light” is one of the few 112s built from the factory with both 50 and 60 hz outlets throughout for Worldwide use.

The interior woods, joinery, and stonework were all completed in-house in Westport’s Washington facilities in the Pacific Northwest. The extensive use of book-matched raised panel mahogany, marble, granite and Onyx came as the result of millions invested in Westport’s furniture facility three years prior.
