The first jumbo center console to appear on the market, the Yellowfin 42 continues to set the standard for what a muscular, no-holds-barred center console should be.

Introduced in 2008, she’s a proven tournament contender combining fully cored composite construction with a highly efficient layout and the ability to run hard in severe conditions. Like most of today’s big center consoles, the 42 rides on a high performance stepped hull designed to reduce drag and friction.  

Rod holders are everywhere. Below deck, a well-finished cabin includes twin berths, standup shower, electric head, microwave, and a teak-and-holly sole. In 2013, Yellowfin redesigned the 42 by replacing the seated livewell with a transom livewell, adding a hullside door to ease entry, and moving the console and leaning post forward 18 inches to reduce bow rise and increase cockpit space.
