This boat was custom ordered by a very experienced boater that owned and operated a shipyard for many years. He always owned a Contender as his knowledge from repairs proved that they had one of the best hulls produced. He opted for the 300 Yamaha's as they are the most reliable, efficient, and quietest Yamaha engines on the market. He moved aft cleat to the gunnel because it is very difficult to get to the stern lines when the back seat is in the boat. He kept a full time Captain to care for the boat and it was washed weekly and waxed multiple times year. If you are looking for a boat that is set up to fish and cruise by a very experienced yachtsman, this is the boat for you!
