MY ASKARI is one of the new FD100 Tri-Deck series by Horizon, custom-designed as a flexible semi-displacement, extended-range explorer vessel with all the comforts of home.

She is a long-range luxury explorer with a range of 2,100 nm at 9 knots but can sprint to a top speed of just over 20 knots. The powerful Caterpillar 1850hp C32 engines, which currently have 4 years of extended warranty in place, possess the ability to swiftly transport you to your island destination, maintaining a cruising speed of 18 knots. With an upgraded 4,950 gallon fuel capacity, the yacht is capable of cruising long distances off the Florida coast without the need to refuel.

With an overall length of 103’, ASKARI features a traditional layout on the main deck. You are immediately welcomed when boarding with an expansive and very intimate aft deck, including 4 oversized sofas situated around an expandable hi-lo table which can be utilized for relaxation, cocktail hour, morning breakfast with a view, or a more formal dining event. Highlighting the social seating area is a full service walk around bar which is perfect for entertaining.

Moving forward into the interior, you will find yourself situated in the award winning main saloon designed using marine hues as the base to merge with the natural beauty of the surrounding environment seamlessly. You will also find full-height windows and ample seating throughout. As you look closer into detail, you will find storage fitted throughout without compromising that open and airy feel. Just forward of the saloon, a formal dining area with seating for up to 8 comfortably, complimented again by those floor to ceiling windows and SØKTAS Hand Blown Glass Lighting providing the main ceiling feature light. Off to stbd is a full height Liebherr Barrique 168 bottle wine cooler which is unique to this particular build ensuring there is never a lack of your favorite wine or cocktail when taking those long trips down island.

Entering into the galley, which is an absolute chef’s dream featuring top of the line subzero and Miele appliances and stunning cambria countertops and cambria heated floors. This galley also has the ability to be partitioned off from the main entertaining areas with a hi-lo screen and 2 pocket doors when desired. Large open-plan spaces provide flexibility and versatility which has become a definite requirement for the US market.

Furthest forward on the main deck, you will find an extremely comforting main deck master suite with a Super King Berth, along with Dual ensuites with heated floors and adjoining rain shower. The master stateroom also features 4 closets along with dual vanities both port and stbd with additional drawer storage. Again, the oversized windows noted carry into this stateroom as well.

Guest accommodations extend from the on-deck master to a very unique four further ensuite staterooms on the lower deck comprising of (3) mirrored VIPs amidships and a double and convertible twin forward with a pullman. This is a very unique layout as the traditional “V-Berth” has been eliminated giving equal volume in each cabin, similar to layouts found on much larger yachts.

The crew accommodations are nothing short of luxurious as well, finished out with the same materials used in the forward guest accommodations. This area features a full crew mess, 2nd set of full size washer & dryer, along with 2 ensuite cabins for up to 4 crew. If additional crew is needed, the forward twin cabin w/ pullman berth can be utilized for up to an additional 3 service staff. This cabin has been purposefully situated at the bottom of the stairs leading down to the guest companionway forward to ensure guests are not disturbed when needed.

Situated just aft of the crew accommodations, there is a large garage for water sports storage along with an additional diesel fuel pump for tender refueling. This again is another flex space and can be utilized as a beach club for entertaining. The entire transom opens up, exposing the overhead rain shower for rinsing off, dive compressor when those tanks need refilling, TV and more refrigeration so there is no need to go far when a beverage is needed while hanging out at waterline or enjoying your favorite watersport. The extended custom swim platform has an upgraded 3500lb three-stage lift capacity and can easily cater for a tender up to 18’ on the stern with room to spare. Or simply use it as a vast swim on/swim off beach club platform with multiple umbrella sockets and raised handle swim ladder for easy access. The recently installed ATLAS shorepower converter is now housed in the garage area as well, giving you the ability for seamless world travel.

A state of the art helm station features 6 x NAV screens in which you can log all the service and maintenance history through the factory installed software Seahub.
The Seahub system will keep you up to date with maintenance due, upcoming and overdue. You can even assign maintenance to crew to ensure it is completed.

The deck areas on this Tri-Deck FD100 do not disappoint, with the semi-enclosed full beam sky lounge giving you the space of vessels of over 120’. The flybridge is perfect for a weekend in the Caribbean sun hosting a bar, seating area and extending aft to a full dining area for up to 12 with a large jacuzzi tub along with an exterior dayhead perfectly situated off to the stbd side. Like all true superyachts, the tender storage up to 15’ and crane is on the foredeck or space for water toys such as jet skis, freeing up the entire flybridge and Tri-Deck area’s for guests only unobstructed by working areas with plentiful seating, entertaining and sunbathing spaces around the Jacuzzi.

The addition of the Tri-Deck features an additional fully equipped exterior helm station for the perfect days cruising through the Bahamas, with ample sun lounges and seating to soak up the sun. Ice maker and refrigerator are close by, so a nice cold drink is only steps away.
