Thanks to the pivoting transom system, the Riva 38 offers a real beach platform at the aft. The electro-hydraulic hatch reveals mahogany laid surfaces with two removable and foldable cushions to create twin exclusive chaise lounges.

Powertrim Assistant for Aquamatic sterndrive: The Volvo Penta software automatically adjusts your drive trim for the best possible running attitude and lowering fuel consumption. You also get faster acceleration, higher top speed and better comfort.

Always the right attitude: During acceleration, the drives are trimmed in to get you up on plane as fast as possible. At high speed cruising, the drives are trimmed out gradually to increase speed and reduce fuel consumption.

Riva 38 will be equipped with a single Seakeeper NG5. The anti-rolling gyro system that guarantee the maximum comfort on board whether cruising or simply anchoring.

Seakeeper NG5: The Seakeeper 5 is designed to achieve 70 to 90% roll reduction on boats up to 20 tons, vessels 30-50'. The Seakeeper 5 requires only modest electrical power, has no outside appendages, and can be installed off centerline, if necessary. Its computerized control and vacuum technology make it the first truly practical, and only modern, anti-roll gyro. 

The Seakeeper product is a “Control Moment Gyro” or CMG and employs the physics of gyro-dynamics. The unit has a heavy flywheel that spins at high speed in a near vacuum, thus virtually eliminating air friction and allowing weight and power consumption to be minimized. The flywheel’s angular momentum produces a gyroscopic righting torque that counteracts any boat roll.
