My Horizon 20 Catboat is for the sailor that wants a very low maintenance, safe, and easy to sail vessel. I am in my mid-70's and worked closely with the Com-Pac factory to customize and build this boat to meet this very specific criteria, with special attention that the boat will be kept on a lift in St. Petersburg, FL next to our condominium. It is nice to have the luxury of specifying a newly built boat based on fifty years of sailing, and ownership experience of numerous vessels, including a 41' pilothouse cutter that was custom built in the Far East.

My 2024 Horizon 20 was completed and just launched in  November, 2023, with the expectation that we would be able to utilize it for the next few years. However, personal circumstances change quickly at this age and we have located to Sarasota, FL away from the water. This sadly necessitates selling this almost new boat which has only been used 6-7 times for short 1-2 hours sails in Tampa Bay. The boat met ALL of my expectations as it handles beautifully and is incredibly easy to sail single-handed.
