A Family-Friendly Center Console with Overnight Capabilities Let’s start with the unexpected. Yes, it’s a Center Console with a small bright and airy cabin at mid-ship, behind the cockpit that allows sleep two on a double berth down below. It also featured a separate shower and head compartment, optional air conditioning, and optional generator. How the designers were able to include a cabin and enclosed head in this 29’11” center console is ingenious.
The Jeanneau Leader 9.0 CC is a spacious 29-footer capable of carrying 11 guests in comfort as there is a place for everyone throughout the boat. The helm features three seats perfectly situated so the full array of electronics is always withing view. The cockpit features two side bench seats and an aft bench seat with storage underneath. The Leader 90.0 cc is perfectly adapted for fishing equipped with leaning post, live well, rod holders and cooler/fishbox. However, the boat is also adaptable for family outings as it can be equipped with a cockpit grill or stove, sink and refrigerator. Of course, there is lots of storage.
For power, there are two engine packages available, a pair of Yamaha or Mercury 200 Horsepower or Yamaha 250 Horsepower, which both come with electronic controls.
With a moderate to deep V hull, time to plane is about 4 seconds, cruise speed is about 28.7 mph with max speed at about 46 mph depending on engine package.
