2024 Kraken Kraken 52

The DSK Kraken 52 is an amazing design & build by Offshore Powerboat World Record holder and Race Winner of the United Kingdom Offshore Powerboat Racing Association (UKOPRA), Michael D Howe.   Michael & Sarah Howe have logged over 4000 miles testing this incredible vessel on their Globally famous YouTube channel, "Howe2Live" and over the past year have featured many of the Kraken with many collaborators like HeavyDSparks and Diesel Dave!!  Another incredible collaboration with Captain David Wilks from the Patriot MotorSports YouTube channel saw an independant 1800 miles of high-performance testing, upgrades and adventures as the trip left South Florida for a journey up the East Coast to the Statue of Liberty, New York and ultimately to the dock in Biddeford, Maine.  

After logging over 6100 miles of testing in 285 hours of run time, without a single issue... it was time to haul out the Kraken at Maine Yacht Center in Portland, Maine for a seasonal update to the bottom paint.  It was discovered the vessel needed very little in hull work due to the remarkable HullShield HD100 Ultrasonic protection system.  With only a light sanding, application of new Petitt Black Widow bottom paint to a final smooth finish and new OEM Mercury zincs... the Kraken was loaded back into the water.  

Other upgrades to the Prototype Kraken 52' Include:

It is sad for me to give up this incredible boat, but it is time to move the hull #1 Kraken to her new permanent home... as the new Kraken Super Coupe will be here soon!!  You will not find a better value on the market for a boat that does such much with such high performance.
