The Sea Fox 248 Side Console is a reintroduction of the popular 249 Avenger model that features a unique side console layout that is extremely family friendly with more seating and a larger console head/berth than the center console 248 Commander.

The Sea Fox 248 Side Console is the perfect boat for entry level Boaters all the way up to life-long boating enthusiasts.  This boat is capable of doing almost anything that the family man/recreational fisherman would want it to do.  With a 70/30, family time to hard core fishing ratio, this boat is the premiere option for all of your on the water needs this season!

 The 248 Side Console boasts an impressive 14" draft, making it ideal for maneuvering through shallow canals, fishing inshore flats, or pulling up to the sand bar with the family for a day of sunshine and relaxation.   The remarkable aspect of this boat is its' offshore capabilities in conjunction with its' impressive draft.  Sea Fox puts an emphasis on the ride quality of all of their boats and the 248 Side Console is no different.  With its steep forward Deadrise and prominent "Carolina Flare" this boat is sure to keep you and your family comfortable and dry in conditions that other 24ft vessels would run from.

 The 248 Side Console has 10-person capacity with comfortable seating options for each.  The rear three-person bench seat, and two-person leaning post are perfect for riding in less-than-ideal conditions, while the forward bench seat and front seating arrangement are perfect for relaxing in the sun!  In the forward seating arrangement, you will notice a three-person bench seat that connects to the starboard side of the boat.  You will also notice spacious wrap around front seating with rear facing back rests that make it a luxury to soak in the sun.  When you've reached your destination, you can utilize the pedestal for the center table and enjoy your food and beverages on the bow of your boat while enjoying that dining room feel.

 The Storage options on the 248 Side Console are exceptional, and industry leading.  There are 5 storage compartments built into the hull of the boat, and an additional 3 in the T-top alone!  All of the storage compartments in the hull are insulated with drain holes making all of them acceptable options for cooler space.  The compartment in the rear of the boat just in front of the boarding ladder is perfect for putting drinks in when you are pulled up to the sand bar or out of the boat for any reason, making it easy to grab a refill without having to get in and out of the boat. The forward storage compartment in the T-top comes with a bracket for your fire-extinguisher and a place to store your registration and whistle, making it a convenience when you need to access your coast guard requirements.

 The 248 Side Console is a comfort-based overhaul of the tried and true 248 Commander, extending the center console to the starboard gunnel, adding storage options, adding seating options and optimizing ergonomics.  While the Side Console still performs in the top of its class as a fishing vessel when needed, the luxurious feel of the re-designed layout is unmatched for spending time with family and friends!

 From a performance aspect, this boat is one of the leaders of its class.  Powered by the Yamaha 300, you can expect to see a top end speed north of 55mph and optimal cruising speed in the low 40's, all while maintaining outstanding fuel efficiency.
