CONSTRUCTION

• Hull and deck constructed with Vacuum Infusion of Vinyl ester resin, foam and Soric GRP sandwich with unidirectional and biaxial laminates

• Hull is reinforced with Infused GRP stringers in the keel and bow sections

• Hull and deck are moulded in single tone off-white,

• Deck with high traction non-skid moulded

• Carbon fibre beams laminated on keel box and glued to the deck to support mast compression and keel hydraulic ram

• Two transoms hung balanced rudders, built of GRP foam sandwich,

• Red chainplates bolted to the main structural bulkhead

• Bolts, screws and fittings are all made of stainless marine grade stainless steel

• Faired underwater areas, ready for sanding, epoxy primer and antifouling application

KEEL ARRANGEMENT

• Swinging keel with “elephant leg” lead bulb, main steel structural element and epoxy GRP enclosure

• Laminated areas of the keel are pre-painted with epoxy primer for easier antifouling treatment

• Manually operated hydraulic pump with stainless steel hydraulic ram built in the Carbon fibre mast support

• 60 cm high stainless steel pulpit, pushpit and six stanchions painted in mat black, with double lifelines
