Salon

The salon is a bright open space, designed to create one large living area between the salon and pilothouse. This is achieved by the opening up the normally closed off bulkhead bewteen salon/pilothouse which not only creates the open design, but more importantly gives the helmsperson a clear view from the pilothouse helm station to the aft deck.

The guest stateroom features side-by-side twin beds that slide together to make a large double berth. The 4th stateroom/crew area is accessed either from the aft port side of the main salon or via the aircraft style watertight swimstep transom door. The transom door access is great when you have a service tech coming aboard for annual machinery maintenance.

The crew area layout plan for the E680 was well conceived. Offering the crew stateroom, head and stall shower, an easily accessed utility compartment and a galley/work bench that houses a refrigerator/freezer, offers abundant storage, stone or stainless steel countertop with under counter mounted sink and an overhead cabinet with microwave oven. The flooring is a combination of cherry wood from the salon at the base of the crew stairs landing and then a heavy duty rubber from the transom door to the engine room.
