Welcome to the Metan Classic Collections. Metan has created a custom line of vessels inspired by the designs of legendary innovators like Bob Dougherty from the early Boston Whaler days and Carl Mosley, known for his renowned 26-degree variable dead rise Seacrafts. With over 30 years of leading the marine restoration industry and utilizing the most advanced materials and high-tech processes, Metan expanded 8 years ago to introduce a custom-built line of vessels ranging from 13 to 32 feet, honoring these great designers.

Drawing on decades of experience in rebuilding vessels, Metan incorporates its advanced materials and cutting-edge techniques into the build process of the Classic Collections. The attention to detail is evident in their wood products, high-gloss finishes, and skilled metal fabrication. Additionally, the meticulous ABYC wiring systems have contributed to their success in winning “Best of Show” awards at boat shows from Rockport to Palm Beach. Each vessel is custom-built to meet the specific wants and needs of our clients, making it a truly unique possession that only a few will ever have the privilege to own.
